About Us John James Clearance Limited was founded by Chris Watts back in 2007. Before John James Clearance Limited, Chris had run numerous other clearance businesses before starting John James Clearance Limited.

John James Clearance came about after Chris lost his parents. The whole experience of having to empty the house of all the belongings was incredibly stressful and upsetting, and as such felt that there was a need for a more sensitively structured service to assist families in bereavement. Having been through it, our team really do understand our customers’ needs.

We pride ourselves on our reputation for excellent customer service; we are always polite, supportive and work efficiently with families and family friends considering all their needs during such sad times. Over the years we have built an outstanding reputation and have maintained a 5-star rating on Google.

With more and more people having their own businesses, it has been a natural progression for us to also move into retail stores and office clearances for family businesses. This includes taking care of office premises, industrial units, home offices and outbuildings too.
