"Dear Cliff and Chris, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for doing such a superb clearance job on my mother's property. You were punctual, polite, friendly and worked so hard. My mother would have been very impressed. I wouldn't hesitate using you again and would be very happy to recommend you to anyone that needed clearance services. Thank you once again for all your help and hard work, Regards." Mrs Julie Winstone
Items purchased and valuation service
We always make price allowances for good quality household items and furniture that is suitable for resale. This is then used to offset the total cost of your clearance and in some cases, can cover the entire cost and result in us making a payment to you. You can also sell your furniture and other household items to us and use to funds to buy a keepsake to remember your loved ones by. (Items we do purchase include furniture, clocks, vintage clothing, garden equipment, china, glassware).
Loft, garage, shed, outbuilding and general rubbish clearance
Our home and office clearance service can also include any loft space, sheds or outbuildings, whether part of a full house or office clearance, or as a stand-alone project. We can also collect and ethically dispose of any general rubbish you may have.
Items for valuation and sale at auction
If you feel that there are items of some value during the house clearance that you would like to get valued with a view to selling at auction, John James can assist you with this. We have professional relationships with several reputable local auction houses, and we would be happy to deliver your items directly to them for valuation and sale.
With all home or office clearances, we leave the property tidy, all carpets are hoovered and outbuildings swept. However, if you require deep cleaning or further decorating services, these are available on request.
If during the house clearance process, there are items that you may wish to keep, but have no way of getting home, John James can take care of this for you. We are happy to offer a delivery service direct to your door, for any furniture or personal items you may wish to keep.
Donations for furniture to charities
With constant reviews in Health & Safety legislation, charity shops are becoming increasingly limited in the items they will accept as part of your donation. John James Clearance are happy to remove your unwanted items and then donate what can legally be allowed to your chosen charitable organisation on your behalf.
Donations of money to charities
John James are happy to help you with the onward purchase or resale of any items which can then be donated as funds to your chosen charity.
Working with a third party
We understand that family members may not always be local to the property requiring clearance or may simply not wish to keep returning to it. We are happy to stay in contact by telephone/email and deal directly with your solicitor/estate agent/representative on your behalf, if you prefer.
